The department of Life Sciences organized a guest lecture on 21 March 2017 in the Mini Auditorium, Block I of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Central Campus. Dr. T H. Krishna Prasad, TB Immunology Lab, AIIMS, New Delhi was the resource person. The topic was “ Tuberculosis -a multi-dimensional menace”. Dr Prasad spoke on the general aspects of the disease Tuberculosis  and focussed on  areas like Bovine TB, how TB affects the multiple system in the body etc The hormonal variations in the body of the patient was also  discussed. Dr Prasad’s words were truly inspiring and encouraging to the young minds to do further research on the therapeutic aspects of this disease.
